A publicwork
programme: Telling the Year is a project over three years to gather together a new kind of community. The three year cycle will be based on a model of human growth which sees us move from our primary relationship with our mother, towards our father and the outside world, and then into relationship with friends and lovers. We will use this model as a frame for exploring different ways of naming the divine. Year One will focus on God as Mother. Workshops will combine embodied experience using movement, music and storytelling, with opportunities for sharing and discussion, and ideas for individual practices between workshops. Participants are required to commit on a yearly basis, in order to support continuity and facilitate a space in which community can grow. There will be a maximum of 16 participants in Year One. See full programme and taster event » The all inclusive cost of Year One (6 workshops & 1 weekend retreat) is: £500/£435 concessions (OAPs, Students, Low Income) A deposit of £101/£85 concessions is required to secure a place. This will be followed by seven monthly payments of £57/£50 concessions. Full payment must be complete before the weekend retreat in May.
